The company was created in December of 1986 in Flint, MI. At its inception, it was a one-man operation, with the designing and building of custom decks as its only facet of business. Over the past years, we have expanded construction as well as added the manufacturing and retailing of components and deck accessories. In the same time, we attribute this growth as a reference for our quality of workmanship and customer service.

• Guaranteed to be the lowest price when competing against a licensed and insured builder with the same product

Quality Standards:

• Materials are hand selected twice, once at delivery, once at job site
  
• Our building systems exceed all local building codes
  
• No lumber is used at your home that wouldn't be used at our homes

Jobsite Standards:

• Uniformed employees
  
• Job site's cleaned nightly
  
• No foul language permitted
  
• No loud music
  
• Vans at job site no later than 9:00a.m.
  
• Once a job has been started, employees stay with that job until finished

Warranty:
Creative Wood Products warrants that all construction related to the remodeling substantially conforms with the plan and specification and change order for this job. Within two years from the date of substantial completion or use of the remodeled space by the owner, whichever comes first, Creative Wood Products will repair or replace, at our option, any latent defects in material or workmanship by the standards of construction relevant in the State of Michigan. A latent defect is defined as one that was not apparent or ascertainable at time of occupancy. The Owner agrees to accept a reasonable match in repair or replacement in the event the original item is no longer available.

Exception to this is for synthetic materials where the warrenty falls directly on the manufacturer.
