What You Should Know Before Making Your Decision
During the past 23 years of our business we have used many different types of synthetic decking products. We were one of the first to sell synthetic decking and have been used as consultants for several national manufactures.
Synthetic decking is basically broken down into four categories. Composites ( Organic Materials encapsulated in plastic), PVC (Cellular products such as Procell Technology), Vinyl and straight plastic. We have also experienced recalls and closures of several manufacturers leaving us and our customers high and dry in regards to warranties on these products. We strongly recommend anyone looking into synthetic to do your research on claims and warranty issues on any manufacturer you are considering. At this time Creative Wood Products is strongly recommending wood for our customers, but if synthetic is what you want, look at PVC and vinyl first.
